Ehime launched super late maturing varieties. The listing period lasted until March, and one sold for 40 yuan!

On December 31, Tianfu Agricultural Innovation Park, Pujiang County, Chengdu held a citrus media meeting of “Ye Cai loves late orange” at Ye Cai family farm, and a new generation of super late mature “Ehime” – “love late orange” appeared. At present, “love late orange” is planted in wuhui village, shou’an street, Pujiang County, with an area of more than 500 mu. The output is expected to reach 20000 this year, about 2000 boxes.
“Love late orange” is the dominant plant tree with strong physique selected by yecai family farm in the early maturing citrus base of the farm. Through the regulation of high-energy nutrient supply, soil biological culture, green protection and careful cultivation, it will continue to keep the tree through the test of severe frost. Finally, the growth cycle of “Ehime” fruit, which was originally mature in November, can be greatly extended until January to march of the next year at the latest. At present, the price of 8 packed aiwan oranges picked in January is 168 yuan / box, and the price picked in February is 288 yuan / box. “Love late orange”, which is later listed, can be sold for up to 40 yuan a piece.
“Love late orange” is divided into three models: 101, 102 and 103. Yecai 101 was picked in January, and the content of soluble solids was more than 14%; Yecai 102 was picked in February, and the content of soluble solids was more than 16%; Yecai 103 was picked in March, and the content of soluble solids was more than 17%. “Love late orange” greatly improves the soluble solids and flavor of the fruit. The fruit fragrance is refreshing, sweet and refreshing, thin skin, thick meat, fresh and juicy. You can even use fresh fruit as jelly and suck it with a straw.
At present, the common “Ehime No. 38″ in the market belongs to early and medium mature miscellaneous oranges. Ehime produced locally in Sichuan can generally be listed in mid October and still sold by the end of November. Ye Cai family farm will ripen “Ehime” late, and the quality will be improved. In the next step, “love late orange” will be planted among local fruit farmers in Pujiang. At present, more than 16000 Mu has been signed. Relying on mature citrus planting technology, the local government will adopt agricultural socialized service “whole village menu trusteeship” to ensure the unity of quality.
In recent years, the citrus hybrid “Ehime 38″, native to Japan, has been in the limelight for a time with its delicate and juicy jelly like taste. A few years ago, when the price of Ehime No. 38 citrus was high, the price of more than ten yuan a kilogram was still sought after by consumers. However, in the past two years, with the increase of planting area and the concentration of listing period, the price of Ehime has fallen sharply. Especially in November this year, when the orchard was intensively listed, the lowest purchase price was only 1 yuan / kg, and the market price was only 3 yuan / kg, almost reaching a record low. However, the planting area of Ehime in China is still increasing, and the planting area in Sichuan alone has exceeded 300000 mu. “Love late orange” has staggered the mature and large-scale listing season of “Ehime” in time, and will be listed as late as January to March next year, with strong market competitiveness.
