On July 5, Chibi Shenshan Xingnong Technology Co., Ltd. held a listing launching ceremony in Chibi City, Hubei Province. Shenshan Xingnong officially landed on the main board of Singapore stock exchange with the stock code of “BKV”. This is the first company listed on the main board with kiwi fruit industry in China.
Chibi Shenshan Xingnong Technology Co., Ltd. was reorganized from Dukang Holding Co., Ltd. in Luoyang, Henan Province. It is reported that the liquor production of Du Kang holdings is affected by emission reduction control measures, coupled with the continuous reduction of demand for Baijiu Baijiu, which has led to a continuous decline in profitability in recent years. When choosing the transformation direction, Du Kang was optimistic about domestic agriculture, especially the fruit planting industry. Considering the lack of strong brands in domestic fruit planting and processing and the high dispersion of kiwi fruit market, Dukang decided to enter agriculture and purchased Shenshan Xingnong, which is committed to kiwi fruit planting.
Shenshan Xingnong holds the forest use right of 8 Kiwi orchards in Chibi City, Hubei Province, with a total land area of 9805 mu, which is one of the largest Kiwi orchards in China. As of March 17, 2021, Chibi Shenshan Xingnong holds 80 trademarks and 36 patents. At present, the varieties cover three series: Yellow meat, green meat and red heart. The main products are “fairy fruit” and “Cuiyu”. Green meat product honey talk green fruit and red heart product honey love red heart. The sugar degree after ripening is about 18 degrees.
In addition, Shenshan Xingnong also has the exclusive variety right of “Yannong No. 1″, also known as “fairy golden fruit”, which belongs to yellow meat variety. The pulp is yellow, full and delicate, with flower and fruit fragrance. The sweetness can reach more than 18 degrees, and the peel is thin, with an edible rate of 96%.
The kiwifruit planting base of Shenshan Xingnong has realized automation and mechanization. The orchard adopts automatic water and fertilizer integrated facilities, physical pest control measures and whole garden electrification, which greatly improves the operation efficiency of key farming such as fertilization, weeding and disinfection in the orchard. A two-dimensional code “ID card” is hung on the fruit tree. Scanning the code can view the fruit tree number, tree age and other relevant information. The company’s information system can trace which tree in which orchard each Kiwi comes from.
It is reported that the revenue and net profit of Shenshan Xingnong’s Kiwi business have been growing steadily since 2017, and the impact of the epidemic in 2020 is minimal. The income of Shenshan Xingnong increased from 49.5 million yuan in 2017 to 99.5 million yuan in 2019, and the net profit also increased from 19.5 million yuan in 2017 to 53.4 million yuan in 2019, with compound annual growth rates of 41.8% and 65.5% respectively.
