21.35 tons of deqinggong oranges were exported to Canada for the first time

On December 5, 21.35 tons of Deqing Gonggan were shipped to North America. This is the first time Deqing Gong oranges are exported to Canada, and the arrival time is expected to be around New Year’s day in 2022.
This batch of tribute oranges is exported by Guangdong Zhongli Agricultural Group Co., Ltd. the company continues to develop the export demand of other regions, taking into account the domestic medium and high-end market demand. It is expected that the sales of Deqing Tribute oranges at home and abroad will reach about 1000 tons in the whole year.
Deqing Gonggan got its name as a tribute to Emperor Gaozong of Song Dynasty. Deqing County is subordinate to Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province. It is located on the North Bank of the middle reaches of the Xijiang River in the west of the central part of Guangdong Province. It has been planting tribute oranges for more than 1300 years. It is the dominant planting area of tribute oranges. The locally produced tribute orange has golden fruit color, thin and smooth skin, crisp and tender meat, refreshing without residue, sweet and delicious.
At present, Deqing Gonggan has a planting area of 121000 Mu and five Gonggan export filing bases, which have been successfully exported to the Dutch market. It is estimated that the total output of Deqing Gong citrus will reach 263000 tons this year, including 50000 tons of high-quality fruit. This year, Deqing Gonggan was uniformly listed on November 15, and the listing season is expected to last until about the middle of January next year
